Futron has recently been awarded two task orders on our Southwest Asia Blanket Purchase Agreement (SWA BPA) through the U.S. Army. The first contract is for the installation of a telecommunications infrastructure in Afghanistan. The second contract is for an intrusion detection system installation in Kuwait.
These projects add to Futron’s already impressive experience and presence in both Afghanistan and Kuwait. Our company is has performed IT, physical security, and construction projects in both countries. Previous projects include a large Design-Build project in Afghanistan, as well as our Network Operations Center (NOC) project in Kuwait.
Futron has also completed contracts throughout the Middle East. Projects include Design-Build contracts throughout Iraq, Perimeter Security in Qatar, and Enterprise IT products and services in Iraq and Qatar. Our federal customers in the area include Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM), U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), U.S. Marine Corp Systems Command, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE).
Futron looks to expand our ever-growing global presence throughout the Middle East/Southwest Asia through this BPA and several others in the coming months.
“Futron continues to win these projects off the SWA BPA based on our ability to fulfull two important criteria: quality service and competitive pricing. The more we continue to showcase our abilities on successfully performing OCONUS work, the more it helps not only in gaining valuable experience in performing this type of work, but solidifies our exceptional performance as a company on all facets of our performance.” – Jami Qureshi, Program Manager for SWA BPA
