Futron completes Video Wall Design and Installation for the U.S. Army in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait

Futron recently finished a comprehensive video wall design and installation project for the U.S. Army Area Support Group – Kuwait (ASG-K) Command Operations Center (COC) at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Our solution included AMX, NEC, Juniper, Biamp and Extron products. This project included design, procurement, staging, installation, testing and acceptance and required close coordination with the Government within both the U.S. and Kuwait.

Futron began working at Camp Arifjan in 2005, building the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)’s VTC and Network Operations Center (NOC) that currently services all of Southwest Asia. While there, we implemented staging, deployment, staffing, and management processes customized to the unique requirements of Camp Arifjan and Kuwait. Futron engineered, staged, and shipped all materials for the entire DISA video system. We implemented a red-black tempest system. Futron pre-staged all materials in the United States in which we configured all equipment and hardware. We then shipped all configured materials to Camp Arifjan, which our certified technicians installed on site. Futron’s certified personnel have experience around the world in places like Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, Qatar, Burkina Faso, Germany, Japan, and Djibouti.
