Futron is excited to announce that they have been awarded a multi-year BPA to provide structured cabling system services for VA facilities in Martinsburg, WV. As part of the BPA contract, Futron will work with VA Medical Center Martinsburg to support the management and installation of additional network cabling in order to standardize all systems. Work will include installation of new CAT 6 and higher Ethernet cabling and conduit, modifying existing Digital Cable Distribution System, and installation of associated equipment and hardware. Modifications will be made to necessary passive devices such as, splitters, couplers, cable “patch”, “punch down”, cross-connector blocks or devices, and associated hardware. The upgraded system will include telecommunications outlets (TCO), copper distribution cables, connectors, “patch” cables, and/or “break out” devices.
