As a small business-Prime Contractor on the Department of State (DoS), Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) Worldwide Design-Build General Construction IDIQ, Futron’s Construction Division brings excellence in design-build capabilities to support DoS infrastructure modernization efforts across the globe.
Currently, Futron is completing two Task Order projects for DoS in Bangkok, Thailand: a $9M Design-Build project for the Diplomatic Regional Pouch Facility; and a $3.5M Design-Build project for Perimeter Improvements to the Chief of Mission Residence (CMR) at the U.S. Embassy.
As the General Contractor, Futron is responsible for managing all aspects of each project – from design through construction– meeting all DoS requirements before project close-out. Consulate and Embassy projects overseas require expert coordination from Futron’s corporate support offices to ensure seamless project start-up, as well as specialized contractor skills and knowledge in DoS-specific building requirements.
