Futron Supports U.S. Navy with Engineering Personnel in Djibouti, Somalia, and Greece

As part of our scope of work under the Navy Seaport-e/NxG IDIQ contract, Futron Incorporated is currently providing engineering and technical personnel in Djibouti at Camp Lemonnier, Somalia at various locations, and in Greece in support of the Naval Facilities Command (NAVFAC) EURAFCENT in Africa.

NAVFAC EURAFCENT manages facility project planning and design, including acquisition, construction, leasing, environmental, maintenance, and contingency support required by the Navy and Department of Defense (DoD) commands where the Navy is designated as the lead agent in Europe, Southwest Asia, and the Gulf of Guinea, Africa, and the Horn of Africa.

As part of our success in providing professional services, we recruit and deploy qualified, trained, and certified personnel in remote and austere locations. We leverage existing capabilities and expertise in performing work in this region of the world to support the U.S. Navy’s ongoing operations. To better serve NAVFAC and be responsive, Futron has established a fully staffed branch office in Djibouti.

Project Success

Our on-site Civil Engineer, Munah Gwyan, was recently nominated for a coin award by the Department of the Navy for her outstanding performance on this project.
