This year, Futron’s Inside Sales Manager, Patti Garraputa, celebrated her 10 year work anniversary with Futron. Patti began her career with Futron as a Construction Administrator, supporting Project Managers at Futron’s Wilmington, NC Construction Division Headquarters. Since then, her role and responsibilities at Futron have expanded to include working directly with Government customers as an Inside Sales Manager in Facilities Support Services. In her current role, Patti creates sales strategies to support customer building and facility maintenance and system installation requirements, efficiency upgrades, fire/life safety upgrades and maintenance, and more.

Patti is instrumental in building relationships with our customers and subcontractors. She has developed a deep network of specialty subcontract trades and partners to support facilities projects across the U.S. and the world, including in complex and challenging locations and environments. She attributes her success to being an expert negotiator, adept at finding the right subcontractor to meet customer needs, something she has learned throughout her years of coordinating multi-discipline design-build and design-bid-build construction projects for Government customers.
Communicating complex requirements, sourcing competitive and trustworthy services, and managing expectations for on-site work are skills that have contributed to her success as an Inside Sales Manager on facilities-related projects – delivering quality solutions by qualified and certified trade professionals. Patti has supported facility projects for customers such as:
“I love researching to find the right subcontractor to fit each project. It is like an Easter egg hunt, and I can find a great fit if I look hard enough. I often try to find subcontractors that are familiar with or have serviced the facility before. I enjoy the challenge.” – Patti
In an industry typically dominated by men, Patti has been able to show that women can not only be successful but can be leaders and experts within the construction industry. Patti is an invaluable asset to our team and her success as an Inside Sales Manager has greatly contributed to Futron’s growth within the facilities management and services market.
