Futron Celebrates 30 Years of Business

This year, Futron celebrates its 30th anniversary, marking a significant milestone in our company’s journey to a stable, robust, and growing business. Futron was founded in 1994 by CEO, Shakil Qureshi – a mechanical engineer by training with industry expertise in communication systems cabling technologies, including the holder of several U.S. patents. Under his leadership, Futron has grown to a global company providing expertise and solutions in Information Technology (IT), telecommunication, virtual collaboration, facilities and building management services, and design-build construction.

“When I started Futron, my goal was to build an organization where people are recognized for their contributions, and everybody is treated with dignity and respect. It was my hope that they could function independently and be allowed to work at their own pace with little or no criticism in order to achieve the goal of keeping the customer satisfied.  I was not interested in forming another company with company politics playing a large role. I hope, I have succeeded.” – Shakil Qureshi, CEO

Through a commitment to innovative and quality services, Futron has established over $100B in IDIQ, GWAC, and BPA contracts; has developed a global workforce of multi-disciplinary subject matter experts (SME); has maintained industry standard certifications such as ISO 9001; and has supported Federal Government customers on every continent except Antarctica.

Futron’s steadfast dedication to quality, customer satisfaction, and a team of committed professionals across every department are the driving forces that have sustained success over the last three decades.

“As we complete our 30 years in business, we should be proud of achieving this milestone. We will continue to grow, and the future looks promising for all of us.  The employees have contributed greatly to our success, and I hope we can celebrate 40 years in business together.” – Shakil Qureshi, CEO
