Futron served as the Prime and General Contractor (GC) on this Department of State (DoS) Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) Design-Build (D/B) project to design and construction a new 18,029SF/1,675SM Chief of Mission Residence (CMR) on the parcel of land previously occupied by the U.S. Embassy in Djibouti. The CMR is the shining star in the Djibouti Embassy crown. The new CMR meets the 2015 OBO Design Standards, and is designed to be a safe, comfortable home to the Chief of Mission and his family, as well as serving as a facility for hosting formal Diplomatic events.
