Futron designed and installed the digital exhibits for 11 new state of the art galleries to extend the Marine Corps storyline from 1976 to the present day. Each gallery will utilize a combination of artifacts, graphics, audio and video media, lighting, interactive displays, and other elements to convey the message of each exhibit’s focus. We leveraged an enterprise network approach to build servers, develop software, and connect multiple exhibit galleries, ensuring high reliability and simplified maintenance. The systems are engineered to support seamless, high-quality communication across diverse platforms, enabling robust, centralized content management and future upgrades. Our Cisco-based architecture facilitates central management and builds in redundancy to minimize downtime, versus traditional museum designs that depend on local media players for delivery. As a result, the NMMC has achieved and maintained a high level of quality in its exhibits, earning it a Gold Standard rating with independent museum rating organizations and winning awards for excellence from themed entertainment associations. Futron continues to provide ongoing maintenance and updates to sustain operational excellence.
