Futron delivered an end-to-end solution for the U.S. Army Pacific Mission Command Facility by implementing a fully integrated communications and IT infrastructure across multiple project phases. In Phase 1, our team engineered and installed advanced audiovisual, data network, and telecommunication systems—including cabling, VTC systems for both NIPR and SIPR networks—to establish the facility’s core operational capabilities. Phase 2 seamlessly interfaced with this foundation, ensuring system-wide integration. For Phase 3, Futron expanded the infrastructure to support nearly 1,000 users across various mission-critical networks by providing comprehensive IT system designs, hardware procurement, on-site project management, installation, thorough quality testing, and extensive training. This multi-phase effort delivered a highly available, secure, and interconnected communications system. The solution was fortified with robust cybersecurity measures. Futron’s engineers worked with the customer and Cisco engineers to create a network switch upgrade roadmap, allowing the customer to integrate the latest benefits of Cisco layer 3 technology both in new and previous phases.
