Futron delivered a comprehensive data center and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solution for the U.S. Army Pacific Mission Command Facility during Phase 2 and Phase 3 at Fort Shafter, HI. The engagement involved installing state-of-the-art data networking, robust telecommunication systems, and critical power infrastructure to support virtual desktop environments within a centralized control hub. We designed and deployed an Everfox solution to allow VDI workstations to communicate in a cross-domain environment across multiple networks. This included integration of Everfox distribution consoles onto a Cisco Hyperconverged architecture, the integration of Microsoft Teams, and Citrix across the USARPAC thin client user base. Futron’s engineering team designed CSfC architectures for both wireless and remote access solutions for the Government to consider and evaluate.
