Futron led the Phase 1 build-out of the Mission Command Facility (MCF) project consolidating the USARPAC Headquarters to support readiness across the Asia-Pacific theater at Fort Shafter in Hawaii. Phase 1 included the installation of data network and telecommunication capabilities and mechanical equipment in the Arrival Center, Communications Hub, and Central Plant. We installed a unified network to support six networks, a Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS), and Visual Information System (VIS) solution of AV and VTC systems and displays with an integrated control system.

Futron provided surveys of the 100 existing VTC systems at the NMCSD and the surrounding region’s Branch Medical Clinics. Our qualified personnel continued manufacturer support of Cisco TelePresence Codecs and provided preventive maintenance for over 100 VTC systems at NMCSD and the surrounding regions’ Branch Medical Clinics (BMCs). The project includes providing surveys of the existing VTC systems, the continuation of Cisco TelePresence Codecs through ZCare support, and preventative maintenance support for all VTC systems.

Futron engineered and implemented Audio/Visual (A/V) capabilities that integrated multiple sources of situational awareness and collaboration for command and control in the Resolute Support Facility (RSF) at BAF. Our personnel designed, procured, configured, integrated, installed, tested, and trained users on a comprehensive A/V solution for the Joint Operations Center (JOC) and Main Conference Room (MCR) systems within the RSF.

Futron designed, engineered, and deployed an enterprise-wide UC platform on which DOL users connect, collaborate, and exchange information. This platform provided the infrastructure necessary to support the migration of over 300 users across multiple Agencies and campuses. The implementation of an Agency-wide UC platform improved collaboration, reduced operational costs, increased productivity, and enhanced the ability of its workforce to support mission critical business processes.

Futron provided total lifecycle solutions to the SSA for its national video teleconferencing network. We maintained 99.999% uptime for more than 2,000 systems throughout the United States, Pacific Rim, and Caribbean. Additional tasks included engineering and designing VTC systems, product acquisition and installation, maintenance services, end-of-life upgrades, and help desk support for SSA’s entire network. Futron also provided support to SSA’s two National Communication Centers (NCCs) and five Regional Operations Centers (ROCs).

In support of DOI’s ESN initiative, Futron provides Ethernet connectivity to DOI agencies around the country. To support this effort we consolidated 13 Wide Area Networks into a single ESN. Futron constructed and maintained more than 20 Ethernet connections for the DOI with speeds ranging from 10Mbps to 100Mbps.

Futron was selected by USCIS to implement an on-premise, private cloud solution to provide consistent connectivity between physical and virtual environments. Futron’s architecture allowed USCIS to store and create data in a cloud environment while reducing the number of servers needed to support the overall USCIS enterprise. Our solution supported the scalability of next-generation infrastructure through the implementation of hybrid cloud capabilities.
